Cody is a field technician for Beagle, but like all Beagles, he contributes to many operational areas. Using Beagle’s mobile lab platform, Cody is responsible for collecting valuable biomass and dewatering it on site during the harvesting process. When not in the field, he is heavily involved with customer relationship management, our website and social media integration, inventory management and logistics.
Cody graduated from Ohio University in 2011 with a Bachelor’s of Science degree in Environmental Geography with a strong focus on geographical information systems (GIS) and remote sensing (satellite imagery). During his studies at Ohio University, Cody utilized remote sensing software to translate data from the U.S. Geological Survey in order to identify harmful algal blooms (HABs) occurring in Lake Erie. Cody hopes that one day more advanced remote sensing technology will enable him to identify as well as forecast harmful algal blooms. Beagle Bioproducts would undoubtedly benefit from this technology.
